TIM CUP is a sports competition where partecipating sports clubs officialy enter Serie A TIM and Serie B TIM championships, as well as sports clubs relegated from Serie B TIM to Serie C/1 at the end of the previous season. Moreover six teams of the Serie C/1 Championship, which will be designated by the Lega Professionisti Serie C, are partecipating to the event. Since the season 2000-01 Master Group Sport, on behalf of TIM and Lega Calcio, deals with the organization of TIM CUP return final match.
